ASTECH IS RECOGNIZED AS A SECURITY ASSESSMENT PROVIDER BY BITS, A LEADING FINANCIAL SERVICES CONSORTIUM
SAN FRANCISCO, California, July 7, 2008-AsTech Consulting is a member of the Financial Institution Shared Assessments Program, a groundbreaking process financial services companies use to evaluate the security controls of their information technology service providers.
The program was created by BITS, a non-profit industry consortium whose members are 100 of the largest financial institutions in the United States. The Shared Assessments Program provides a standard framework and set of questions to gage the security controls of the vendor to improve efficiency and cost savings in the assessment process.
